Su, Chaw (Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy) (2024-2027)

As a racialized woman with ADHD, being the clinical director of The Therapy Nest Wellness is a full-time job. However, because I believe that not everyone is a perfect fit, I suggest that you book a free 15-minute consultation to have a chat first.

My training is in trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and work from a humanistic approach developed by Carl Rogers.

Su works with clients who struggle with

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or Attention Deficit Disorder

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Stress

  • Men's mental health

  • Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Childhood trauma and Complex PTSD (CPTSD)

  • Racial trauma

Su offers

  1.        Individual Therapy

  2.        Couples Therapy (for clients who are dating someone on the spectrum or have ADHD/ADD themselves)

  3.        Mindfulness Instruction (Anapana and Vipassana). Currently, she is hosting a six-week meditation and mindfulness for ADHDers program for the Canadian Mental Health Association of Moncton (CMHA Moncton). She is passionate about teaching others how to live an authentic and peaceful life.

I am passionate about supporting my clients and often feel energized after sessions. I enjoy spending time getting to know clients, strive to maintain a good therapeutic relationship with clients, and believe that everyone can benefit from therapy, even if it is just dropping in to have a chat about life!
